Quad Biking at Keypitts Off Road Adventure Centre

Go Karting at The North Devon Karting Centre

400m pro circuit with fully computerised lap timing and race control systems. Race suits and crash helmets are available. Clay Pigeon Shooting at the North Devon Shooting Ground

Horse Riding and Pony Trekking

There are a number of local stables catering for the nervous novice to the confident and experienced rider. Whether you wish to hack over Exmoor or gallop along the beach at Woolacombe you will enjoy the experience at one of the following stables. Contact them for further information.

Walking & Cycling

Situated in the heart of North Devon, yet close to the rugged Atlantic Coastline and Exmoor National Park, the area offers a wide variety of walks for ramblers of all ages and abilities. Towering cliffs and deep combes, rolling hills, golden sands and Lundy, our own Atlantic Island. Choose from the coastal walks of the South West Coast Path, 70 miles of Exmoor Heritage Coast, Tarka Trail 180 miles of footpaths and cycleways or try our suggested walks close to the hotel.

There are five courses local to the hotel. These include the championship course at Saunton Sands and a new eighteen hole course at Willingcott Valley, providing challenges to test all levels. Click on the link above for more information.

Fishing & Angling

Try your luck from rocky sea shore or join one of the many boats that leave from Ilfracombe's harbour in summer. There are also a number of well stocked fresh water lakes and the testing fresh water game on Exmoor's rivers, streams and pools.
